Volunteer Information & Instructions

All proceeds benefiting the

Humble ISD Education Foundation forTeacher Grants

 

            First, a big “Thank You” for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this information/instruction sheet. It’s rodeo & BBQ cook-off time again and this year could be bigger and better!!

            I am excited to share with you, that because of all the hard work and effort that was put into this event last year, the Humble ISD Education Foundation was able to award nearly $88,000.00 in Teacher Grants!!!!!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

            Wouldn’t it be great if we could reach the $100,000.00?? In order to be successful and accomplish this goal, we need YOU, the Volunteer!!!

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

 

BBQ Cook-Off:                                  Rodeo:

Assisting with wristband sales                 Assisting with ticket sales

Checking ID’s                                              Working entrance gates to arena

 

Due to the nature of these positions, the only requirement is that you be at least 21 years of age!!!!!

 

Shuttle parking will be available again this year and will be offered at Humble High School, 1700 Wilson Rd.

 

            You would need to park at the shuttle parking lot and catch a ride to the Civic Center. Under the pavilion, there will be a table marked “Volunteers”, where you will sign in and pick up your badge. When your shift is over, you will return the badge, sign out, and as a token of the Rodeo Committee’s appreciation, you will then receive your wristband for admittance into the cook-off.
